Students Corner - FAQ

I can't login to the Students Corner

Remember, you need to type your username and password EXACTLY as it was given to you when you signed up for the class.  For example, if you username was given to you as Jane then you need to type Jane, not jane.

If you are at work, you may have a corporate firewall that is blocking your connection to our website.  Ask your Systems Administrator if your firewall could be the culprit. 

Some home firewalls also can block access to our website.  Check the settings in your local firewall to allow traffic from our website.

AOL ISSUES
If you have problems with your password using AOL as your ISP, you should close out of AOL, go into the Internet using Explorer (the big E on your desktop) then go to our homepage and enter your Students Corner. AOL has recently done something that blocks the codes to the password program, which is why you cannot get into your Students Corner when logged onto AOL.

I am having trouble viewing the PowerPoint's

The most common problem with viewing the PowerPoint's is that you have an older version of Java on your computer. Below you will find a free program update, once you click on the link, the program will automatically  recognize your operating system...and bring you to the correct download:

I can't print PDF's on your website/ I can't view PDF's on your website

The most common problem with viewing or printing the PDF files is that you have an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. Below you will find a free program update for Acrobat Reader:
